I am Kelly, I am 16 and currently studying at college. I hope to pursue a career with working with children in the future as that is my passion.
I am used to babysitting younger cousins that vary from ages 3-14. In addition to this, I also did some volunteer work at a local playschool working with children aged 2-5.
The type of job I would like is a part-time, mostly weekend job.
I believe I am a good listener, empathetic and very caring which is needed greatly when working with children.
I was a peer mentor in secondary school which means that I have the skills to work with people to help them to overcome obstacles they may face. This role also entailed helping any students with homework they had trouble completing.
I have a 'Young First Aider' certified by St.Johns ambulance and also have a Level 2 certificate in Health and Safety in food catering so cooking would not be a problem.
