My name is Fern , I am twenty years old and have lived in the Kent/Sussex area all my life. I am looking for babysitting work, which I have been doing since I was about thirteen, starting with my little cousins. As I grew older I was given more responsibility, and I have looked after children from six weeks old to 16 years old. I am a great mix of fun and responsible; the girls who used to babysit me were great role models, and I aim to follow their example when I babysit. I have the skills to cook them dinner, entertain them, make them do chores and homework, and also install the rules their parents have set, such as bed times. I have experience with all types of children's games, and sometimes I think I end up enjoying them just as much as the children! I have looked after a few difficult kids, but have always enjoyed it, and have always received praises from the parents. I think getting on with the children is a very important part of babysitting, and I find it was rewarding when I hear that the child has asked specifically for their parent to ask me to babysit again.
