Bethany, baby sitter in Weston-super-mare BS23

My name is Bethany Rees, I am 16 years old (nearly 17 yrs old) I have recently left school and I live in weston super mare and I am very passionate about child care. I spend multiple afternoons and evening a week caring for my deaf younger sister (age 8) and I babysit for my younger brother (age 7). I regularly look after the children of family friends, the youngest child I have cared for is 6months old and the oldest is 12 years old. I am a responsible, confident, and positive person. I am a very patient person( I have to be because my younger sister has communication difficulties due to her deafness. And she has highly delayed speech), I know a wide range of Makaton signs which I use to communicate with my younger sister.

I am currently looking for a position as a babysitter/ part child carer for a child in the age Range of 6months - 12 years, within 5 miles of my address.

My experience includes babysitting, child care for whole days and a couple of hours at a time.

6months-1years olds: I am able to prepare and feed bottle/solid food
Change nappies and clothing
Bath/Wash
Confident in taking child out in a push chair
1year-5year olds: I am able to prepare age appropriate Food and drinks
Prepare and initiate age apropriate games/activistes

6years-9 years: I am able to prepare age apropriate food and drinks
Help with homework when needed
Entertain the child/ren wi age apropriate games and activities
