Hi, im Stephanie and I am currently studying an online degree in Law so that I can work alongside it, so I am currently seeking paid work.
I have grown up around children as my mother is a foster carer so a lot of my experience comes from helping to look after them. At college I studied health and social care (level 3) which required me to under take various placements, I worked in 2 nurseries; one which looked after children from new born to the age of schooling, one within a primary school accepting that particular age group. I also had a placement in a high school for children with learning difficulties and then in a college for students with various disabilities.
My last job was a support worker which I worked with adults with a range of mental health issues and disabilities, I feel this was my most challenging experience yet but it built on the skills I had learned voluneering at college. From all of this I would say im adaptable to care for any age group and complete all tasks (cooking, cleaning, days out, homework etc.). I have an Enhanced DBS which is online for employers to check when needed.
I am happy to go over any other details you require or answer any questions you may have, for example what activities I would do with a particular age group.
Thanks, Stephanie .
