I believe I have a very caring, kind and compassionate nature. I am a hardworking, responsible and reliable person. I can work well individually and as part of a team. I believe communication, respect and listening well to other people’s views and opinions is that needed to work as part of a team. I also enjoy learning new skills and to develop my knowledge further.

Objective: Looking for a part time job in the RCT surrounding areas, to further my experiences, skills, and development and career choices. I am looking for part time work as I am in receipt of carers allowance and can only earn a maximum of £116 per week.

I am currently employed as lunch cover in a private day nursery in cardiff working 3 hours per day. Due to relocating from Bristol to Wales in May 2016, I took this permanent part time job as I needed to find employment as soon as possible and I am very grateful for the position they gave me. I have managed to further my experience working in a child care setting. However since starting this employment the distance and short hours are now no longer suitable for me and my circumstances. I am looking to spread my hours over a few longer days. Alternatively I do not mind working those short hours, as long as the distance travelled is not too far.

Previously I was working at a nursery in Bristol, as a level 2 Nursery Assistant I was not at this employment long due to the unplanned relocation to wales.

I would ideally like to continue working in the childcare provision; however I would be willing to try new roles and experiences. I would like to think from my role in a call centre I have excellent customer service and telephone skills. I also believe I have very good computer administration skills.

My previous job was in a call centre and having been there for 2 years, during that time I realised that the job was not for me. I enjoy a practical role and like having a sense of job satisfaction, I feel that during my employment there I had no further room to progress. I am looking for a job that I can aspire to and progress with. I feel with my previous roles and experience in other settings I have had a sense of job satisfaction and feeling like I have made a difference to the service user, and employer. Currently in my employment, I aim to meet all necessary requirements to carry the work out to the best of my ability and for fill my role.
