Jenny, baby sitter - YO8 Selby

I am level three qualified in Preschool Practice. I have a good standard of education including maths and English.

Before having my own children I worked as a nanny for over 10 years in Scarborough and York. I had sole charge of the children whilst their parents worked. I cared for children aged from 7 months to 9 years. These were jobs that I loved. I am still in touch with the families.

I worked in a preschool for 13 years. In this role I helped provide a fun, learning environment for children aged 2 to school age, learning through play following the Early Years Foundation Stage. I was also the settings deputy manager and Special Educational Needs Coordinator.

I am also mum to two lovely teenagers so have lots of experience gained along the way of all ages.

I am passionate about working with children which is something I have done for over thirty years now. I am kind, honest and trustworthy.

I am looking for a part time job over the summer holidays. Sometime after September I am hoping my registration as a childminder will be in place.
