Sara, baby sitting - B61 Bromsgrove

Hi, I am Sara. I am in year 13, currently under taking a-levels in biology, chemistry and history. I am an aspiring medic, who wants to specialise in psychiatry, and so see caring for others to be a priority, and something I enjoy. I am taking a gap year, hoping to gain some experience before I go to university in September 2022. I have 3 younger siblings, all of which are below the age of 10. I have experience of taking care of my siblings, as both my parents have very busy work schedules. I have a 5 year old brother with down’s syndrome, and so have experience working with children with special needs, and understand interactive play. For this reason, I am also in the process of learning Makaton. I was a tutor with a tuition company for 3 years, working with children ranging from the ages of 2-17 years. For this reason I am more than happy to provide support for in homework and tuition if required. I have previously also volunteered in a care home, and so have working with a large variety of age groups. I enjoy sports in my free time, and have previously been captains for both hockey and cross country. I enjoy spending time with both friends and family.
