Wishing to pursue a career in child care and to build up an arsenal of knowledge that can help better execute on future volunteering roles and/or job opportunities, actively seeking through on-line and via publications. When I'm with family I take great enjoyment spending time with my young niece and nephew, spending a vast amount of time with them and this is where my interest in working with children developed and grew. Wishing to go further down this career path by gaining knowledge and learning about each individual child's wants and needs, and seeing them develop and grow.

I currently work with children from ages 2 – 5 years old in my local pre-school, including children with disabilities such as Down’s syndrome. This is to gain work experience for my college course, as i am currently studying CACHE Level 3 Childcare and Education.

I plan and supervise activities such as arts and crafts and garden time for the children. I help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games such as role playing and story time. I help with snack which includes having the children pick from a range of healthy foods such as apples and bananas, making sure that their health and well-being are monitored.
