I have three nieces between the age of 18 months and 4 years old and a nephew who is 6 years old who I look after and care for regularly when their parents are at work.
I have also had experience working with children of various ages and abilities, including children with partial-deafness and autism.
I have worked at after school clubs helping children with their home works and encouraging their academic learning. I have also worked at summer schemes teaching sport to children, again of various ages and abilities. I recently, before I started university had a placement working as a childcare/playgroup assistant, in which we looked after children as young as 3 years old to 11 years old, helping with home works, preparing meals, making sure the environment is safe and healthy and that the children are enjoying themselves, gaining new skills, boosting their confidence and stimulating them and help learning be fun.
I hope to go into a career of teaching or within the childcare sector.
I am available Friday to Sunday.

She has a gentle and quiet personality that helped and the children really loved her. She was able to encourage them to try different activities and she helped to bring out the best in them, even the most difficult children to work with.
