I am currently a student and mother of 1 (18 month son).
I am a very young mother but I see this as a benefit as I'm still very active and love to be around & play with kids
I am friendly, lively, competent, pro-active, patient, reliable and mature. I prioritise organisation and hygiene. I love to clean and like preparing & cooking many types of food. i am good at adapting to situations and feel i have good knowledge on children throughout many ages.
Childcare has always been a great aspect of my life and always been involved with helping, mentoring, teaching or caring for children.
I have previous experience working with many ages.
I have always volunteered to work with children in previous holiday camps ( typically pre-teens; 10-13), church children's group & classes (usually 2-4yrs or 5-8yrs) and have been an assistant teacher for Young Dancers, dance school in London (ages 3 - 13)
Whilst attending stage school i previously was asked by the head of school to mentor the younger children ( age 5- 12) whilst in/ at productions
I wish to continue working with children as i enjoy being around babies and children a great amount.
I'm happy to help with children's daily needs and comfortable to care for young babies. My son is only just turning 18 months and help look after many of his friends (all under the age of 2; 0-2 yrs)
I can cook and clean. I am happy to pick up and drop of children; if parents are comfortable children travelling on public transport or by foot as i do not drive yet (hoping to attain soon). I am more than happy to take children for days out as well.
I'm happy to help with homework (primary and secondary) or even coursework if older children need help. I have 9 1/2 GCSE's in a wide range of subjects. I have also received a silver award in Mathematics whilst attending school and achieved an A in English Literature and B in English Language. I have participated in many LAMDA (drama) and dance exams; achieving qualifications for many years in both. I am now about to finish a qualification in music.
I have a wide range of interests and hobbies and enjoy doing many things (Sports, Hiking, Dance, Singing, Music, Maths, Researching, Sciences, English)
My target audience to work with ideally babies up to pre-teens (around 11/12). I am happy to baby sit or act as a part-time carer for parents.
