My name is Victoria and I'm a 26-year-old freelance film writer.
I am 1 of 5 kids myself (I'm in the middle with two brothers and two sisters) and therefore have been surrounded by children my entire life. I helped raise my younger siblings from a young age which helped me adapt to busy and often hectic situations (as you can imagine with 5 kids in the house).
I have been babysitting and child minding since the age of 14. Coming from a small village in the West Country, I babysat most Friday and Saturday evenings for the same group of families (about 7 families) until the age of 19 when I moved to Brighton for university. I have also been looking after my three nephews over the past five years which I absolutely love doing whenever a helping hand is needed from time to time.
I have also contributed time as a volunteer at Blackboys Primary School in Heathfield as well as various other schools during work experience throughout Secondary School and University - I have a DBS check (previously CRB) on top of my 12 years of child caring experience.
I have spent the past 2 years employed as a film journalist and have recently gone freelance. This has given me a lot more flexibility and spare time - a stark and refreshing contrast to my hectic schedule and busy commute to London every day.
I am a friendly, hardworking, loyal and responsible adult who absolutely loves kids and is looking to get some part-time work as a babysitter whilst I work as a part time freelance writer. My freelance work gives me the perfect opportunity for more flexibility as I am my own boss and therefore can write my articles whenever I choose to which, I think, makes me a perfect applicant as I am always available in the week and at weekends.
I have a driver's license, am a great cook (I think so anyway), cleaner, can pick up your children from nursery, play games, get them ready for bed, read bedtimes stories and I absolutely love doing it.
I really think I would be the perfect babysitter for your children and really hope to hear from you.
