Mhairi, baby sitting in Brighton BN2

Hello,

I am an illustration student (just finished my 2nd year) at the University of Brighton, currently looking for part-time work as a baby-sitter and or as a part-time carer over the summer.

I have had work experience at a children’s nursery, Chipmonks in Giggleswick, North Yorkshire, where I helped the children read, oversaw activities and ran a music session. I also used to teach a 5-year-old music (piano, recorder and guitar) and have looked after my younger cousins on numerous occasions.

If I was to care for your child/children, I’d make sure the day was filled with lots of activities, drawing, making up stories, music, singing and playing. I would also be able to cook simple meals (vegetarian food - pasta, sauces etc.) and clean the house depending on your needs.

In my spare time I write songs, make films, work as a freelance illustrator and play the cello. I also work as Sunday manager at an Age UK shop (so would be unavailable on Sundays)
