Natalie, baby sitting - CF82 Gelligaer

Hello!

I'm 21 years old and studying at the University of South Wales. I'm studying Forensic Science with Criminology and love every bit of it so far! In March 2016, I finished working for a wonderful kindergarten in Vienna, Austria, as I had received my confirmation e-mail from my university that I was able to study here. I worked at that kindergarten for nine months and before that, worked as an au pair (in Vienna, also) for two beautiful little girls for nine months. I truly miss the kids so so much and keep each one of them close to my heart.

As part of a school project during Summer 2013, I worked in a Romanian orphanage as well at at a Romanian summer camp where my role as a team leader involved introducing, explaining and playing games with the children; teaching English through play; singing and dancing with the entire summer camp; arts and crafts. I had such an eye-opening experience doing this, and Romania as a country is just beautiful.

I moved to Mallorca in November 2013 with my mother and her partner and shortly after, started travelling which brought me to Vienna as an au pair for two little wonderful girls. Working in a kindergarten as a native English assistant was the best job. I loved this job. I am in love with Vienna, having lived there for two years, but still look forward to seeing so many more. I am a hard worker, very easy-going and thrive to make people happy. I speak Spanish (although I have forgotten a lot), a little bit of French and German.

I previously au paired in Mallorca for a short time then went to work in Massachusetts on a very child-friendly farm for three months where I taught Animal Science programmes, riding lessons and generally had fun with the kids as well as the animals. After working in the USA, I taught English in Austria whilst training to become a qualified TEFL for YL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language for Young Learners) teacher. Of course, for teachers, it is important to have knowledge of First Aid, so I participated in a First Aid course by the Red Cross in Austria. I taught kids aged 5-16 all over Austria and thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it!

My baby cousin was born in 2011 and I helped a lot with her - feeding, changing nappies, playing, taking her on walks or to the park and general duties that babies require. Now she is older, but I still love to care for her and babysit when I'm free. She's such a joy in my life.
