Katie, baby sitting in East Riding of Yorkshire

My name is Katie and I am almost 18 years old. I live part time in Beverley and part time in Brandesburton so can provide care in and around both of these areas. I regard myself as a caring and kind individual who has a real passion for working with children and helping people out.
I have a lot of experience with children; I have a younger sister who is 10 years old and due to my family situation I was very involved in looking after her as she was growing up and from a young age I cared for her on my own and I feel like I developed a nurturing personality from this. I also have some experience in a children's nursery, I volunteered at a nursery in Beverley where I was involved in the day-to-day life of a nursery assistant and here I gained a lot of valuable experience with a wide range of different children and different age groups. In the nursery I was involved in an extensive range of activities and games used to aid children development and let them have fun so I have experience with a good range of activities for children.
I also have direct experience with babysitting as I have done this for many years for a few families who I have grown to know well and have created a special bond with the children which I hope has given me skills and qualities which I can transfer to other families.
In the near future I hope to go to university to study child psychology, this aspiration of mine stemmed from my interest in children and I feel my previous studies into child development along with my valuable experience with children makes me someone who may be ideal for looking after your children.
