I'm 27 years old, I've worked with children and young people all my life. I started babysitting and providing childcare when I was 14. I'm a qualified youth worker and currently work as a supply teacher. I enjoy baking, swimming and reading. I play the trumpet and read music well. I'm more than confident in looking after small groups of children. I'm a friendly person and believe I am a firm, fair and fun nanny/babysitter. I'm looking to provide childcare after school, evenings and weekends.

Mercedes can provide references from recent employers
Brilliant and talented. Very caring and also professional. Mercedes is a well thought off youth worker, with a great sense of humour. Confident and outgoing and a talented and inspiring youth worker. Mercedes is also smart, punctual, reliable and conscious of her role with young people. I highly recommend her, and would employ her again. She is always well thought of by the young people she works with, has a natural flair for communicating on a young persons level, building great rapport and relationships quickly and easily. She also makes marvellous cakes, and has taught many young people life skills, such as baking.
As well as working for me as a youth worker in my youth cafe, Mercedes also took care of my own two daughters on weekends and evenings. In both jobs she was fantastically responsible, caring and hardworking. She has a wonderful warm personality which is perfect for child care - everyone who meets her loves her. I would without doubt recommend her for a position working with children.
