Alaina, baby sitting in Brighton

Hi, my name is Alaina. I am a Canadian citizen who has been living in the UK for the past 14 months. I started my international adventure as a Au Pair for 9 months before moving on to a receptionist job in central London. I have recently moved to Brighton and am looking for babysitting jobs or part time care jobs to pair with part time work.

As an au pair I was in charge of the day to day life and activates. This included getting the Children up, dressed, breakfast made, Reading before school. Drop off and picking up from school, helping with homework, planning activates and play with the kids, making dinner and bath time. I also planned outings for my kids during school holidays, this included days out to the parks, museums and crafts.

I loved developing the relationship with the family I worked with. I am quite a creative person and I like to create and plan activates and days out for the kids. Some of these activates being crafts, plan your own adventure days, scavenger hunts and fort building.

A little about me, as mentioned above I am creative. I went to art school but later decided that I prefer working with people and love to travel, I have pursed jobs in hospitality recently. I come from a big family and use to being around a lot of kids.
