Greetings, being a step-parent means I put the same care and energy into my work duties and fully appreciate the family dynamic and relate well to children of all ages. Communication is very important for things to run smoothly, as well as accountability, punctuality and gentle but firm discipline in a loving and caring way. Being young at heart means being playful, fun and having a sense of humour is part and parcel of everything I do. Being an alternative practitioner means I have acquired experience working with people from all walks of life over the years. My previous full time job of 8 years, with a wonderful family with 3 children, brought me invaluable experience and love and bonds that continue on till this day with the children as well as the adults. Games and activities included walks, hikes, river rafting, tennis, swimming, board games, charades, picnics, reading and many more. I am looking for a part time position nannying or babysitting with a view to possible permanency.
