I am a trainee teacher that attends the University of Northampton. I am currently completing my dissertation which is based on my English specialism. Before University, I completed work experience in Leedon Lower School and Clipstone Brook School working with the early years units, these are both schools which are within walking distance of my house. As well as this, my course has given me the opportunity to work with the year groups: early years, three, five and six so I am used to children in both key stages one and two. I love being a trainee teacher as I enjoy teaching children and developing them in all types of skills such as communicating and completing work to suit their abilities. I would love to have a child care job as during the summer it will give me the opportunity to apply my skills such as my ability to teach and care for children. I also have a DBS form from my university which is evidence that I have been checked and I am safe to work with children.
