My name is Connie, and I am a recent graduate of special needs and inclusion from the university of Wolverhampton. Although I do not have much professional experience, I have been fortunate enough to gain voluntary and various jobs experiences along the way of my degree.
Before my degree, during my sixth form days I volunteered at my high schools learning centre where I worked with mainly year 7's and helped them through their maths and English homework.
During my degree, I volunteered at a nursery where I worked with mainly the babies (6mths to 2 years) however I did work briefly with the toddlers and preschool age children also.
Also during the holidays of my degree I worked at a dementia care unit, which gave me countless experience with vulnerable adults but also allowed me to perfect my compassionate and patient nature.

When specifically working with children, I enjoy being fun and playing games, however I know there is a line they mustn't cross and at the end of the day I am going to be looking after your children so as much as I want to be fun and enjoyable to be around I have to have a level of assertiveness and professionalism.

I am perfectly capable of helping out your children with their homework , I am unable to say how effective I will be at helping them however I am always eager to learn and help when I can. I enjoy playing various games, from video to real life, I have a huge love of board games. I enjoy playing the more complex and story driven board games.

All in all, I love working with kids, I have always enjoying being around children and I strive to be the best babysitter I can be.
