Hi there, my name is Kate . I am a 19 year old Music Performance student at Birmingham City University. I am from Solihull/Shirley area and have worked with children since the age of 14. I am a friendly approachable face for both children and parents/carers. I have a fully licensed DBS (previously known as CRB Check) that has just become due for renewal.
I am also a leader of a girl guide unit in Shirley. I now run the section for the girls between 14 & 18 and have been in girl guiding myself since age 5.
As a swimming teacher assistant I worked with children from the ages of 3 - 16 years and am comfortable identifying the specific and varying needs of children from different backgrounds and age groups.
Once I have completed my degree I will begin my Teaching qualification, to reach my long term goal of being a music teacher. I am happy and well qualified to help with homework from infant to Secondary level. I play 10 instruments and am more than happy to incorporate my skill and knowledge into my work.
I love to cook as I was originally going to apply for catering school (instead of Music school) and love to watch people enjoy my food! I am a thorough and confident cleaner and would be happy to help during my shifts as much as I can. I am used to looking after children as I often have babysat for family friends/family from ages ranging from 3-16.
I hope my services and profile will fit your needs, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
