Claire, baby sitting in Southfleet DA13

I am a qualified nanny aged 47. I have 2 teenage boys who can now look after themselves! I qualified with a NNEB diploma from Langley college in 1994. After college I was a live in nanny for 7 years and a live out nanny for 4 years. I stopped working in 2005 when I had my children. I returned to work in 2012 working in a local primary school as a midday meal supervisor. I have worked at Istead Rise Primary school for ten years and now want to return to being a nanny.
I have renewed my first training 18/5/22.
I am DBS checked.
I am currently working as a midday supervisor at a local primary school. I have been doing this job for ten years.

I have been involved in helping a baby change from breastfeeding to formula and then weaning. I have developed routines for at least 2 of the babies I have cared for. I am loving and caring and also punctual. I have created, environments that are safe and secure for the babies and children in my care.
I enjoy getting out and about with my own children and this was the same when I worked as a nanny. I have enjoyed doing arts and crafts even though my projects don't always turn out as I expect them too!

My current job as midday meal supervisor can sometimes be stressful but I think I have learned to deal with the many challenges of the job quickly and calmly. I have built a great relationship with the children, especially the 4 and 5 year olds in reception class. This is probably due to me being able to get down to their level and be very silly!
I would ideally like to work part time. I am a non smoker and unfortunately do not drive.
I am experienced with babies and children up to 8 years.
