Hello, my name is Jenny. I am a confident, happy and approachable (young-at-heart) grandmother to four young children. I enjoyed many years of working in schools and colleges, SEN departments. I have gained vast and varied experiences from working with, learning disability; challenging behaviour, and autistic spectrum disorder students, from the ages of 7 to 18. I no longer need to work full-time, but I would love to continue working part time in a field which makes me smile every day! I am DBS checked and my professional qualifications include, an Award in Education and Training, level 3; National learning Mentor Training, level 3; Bereavement Counselling, and an NVQ3 in Care.
Further areas of recent training/experience include:
O Intensive interaction
O Epilepsy
O First Aid
O Food Hygiene
O Fire Awareness
O Coping/Calming strategies
O Autism
O Risk Assessment
O Health and Safety
O Safeguarding adults/young people
O Understanding child mental health
I am a non-smoker and a car driver, I am healthy and enjoy walking, cooking, gardening, family, and crafting. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Occasional babysitting | $7.50 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $9.50 per hour |
£7.50 per hour for babysitting as less interaction is required during usual sleeping hours.
£9.50 per hour for part-time care, as I feel I can give so much to the child/children with applying my previous training and experience to everyday life.
