Jasmine, baby sitting in Lancaster

I am a responsible seventeen year old, who is currently studying level 3 child care at Lancaster and Morcambe college. I am wanting to study at University of Cumbria next year in September to become a primary school teacher. I have thought about my future working with children and I'm very motivated to reach my goal of becoming qualified to provided care to children professionally. While I'm studying at college I really want to gain as much experience as possible to support my university personal statement, therefore I'm seeking part-time child care and babysitting opportunities. I am able to work week days 9:00 am till late, until I start back at college in September 2016, then I'd be able to work any time after 4:30pm Monday to Thursdays. On weekends I prioritise family time and would want to avoid working them days as it's the only time where my family can spend quality time together, which I think is essential. I`d say I am very good with children and know how to keep them stimulate, there's nothing worse as a child to feel bored because the adults around them show lack of interest in what they are doing. I've had experience baby sitting as I used to look after my mum's friends daughter, who was eight at the time for around 12 hours, always receiving brilliant feedback from the mother about how much the little girl wanted me to look after her again. I've also worked 7 months in Ryelands Nursery with 2-4 years olds and I'm now currently in the middle of my 11 month placement at St.Lukes Primary school as part of my Diploma in childcare requires 750+ hours in early years settings. I have lots and lots of knowledge of how to provide care for children that is related to their age and stage of development, including special educational needs and disabilities. I am arty and creative and all activities I plan or provide for children involves them physically creating or making something thats exciting.
