Janice, baby sitting - LE9 Earl shilton

Having worked in management in this area for several years I am good at working well with others and have a good understanding of the way children think and learn.
I have experience working with children with special educational needs and have worked at a children’s residential home for children with EBD and SEN. I am also currently working as a nanny and babysitter. I have found this position highly rewarding. I am also able to understand and empathise with those who have gone through trauma, which can manifest into behavioural difficulties.
I have an excellent knowledge of current health and safety practices within a range of environments and coordinate a high level safeguarding in any circumstance, supporting others in doing so. I am also good at de-escalating situations and managing behaviour to support children with coping strategies and maintain a healthy environment.
I am currently looking for temporary or occasional work on evenings and weekends. I also have limited availability to offer help on Thursdays and Fridays.
