Jessica, baby sitting - LU6 Dunstable

My name is Jessica and I am 19 years old. I am cuurently at Southampton Solent University studying Social Work. I've always loved being around children from a very young age which led me to study my Level 2 childcare in 2012, where I was able to work 7 months in a private nursery with 1-3 year olds, I absolutely loved it! During my time there I was able to learn how to communicate effectively and see how children at that age learn. During that summer I also took a babysitting course where I have now received a certificate to state I am a qualified babysitter. I have now finished my Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education, where I had the opportunity to work with 6-12month old babies, 1-3 year olds and 4-7 year olds. During my baby placement I was able to change nappies, feeding, sleep times and mainly loving and interacting with them. I also have a ten year old sister so I know how to communicate effectively!
