I am a 24 years old Social Science student currently living in Hamilton. Originally I am from Finland. I am looking for occasional or part-time babysitting jobs for the times I have free from studying and volunteering at the Citizens Advice Direct in Glasgow.
I have nine years of experience of working with children and teenagers. I have gained some Finnish qualifications and will be happy to provide more details when asked. I have worked in nurseries, schools, after school care clubs, sports clubs, children's club in a gym and at the children's homes. I also have experience from babies under 6 months old.
As a nanny I am a trustworthy and safe adult who loves to go outdoors, play games, do crafts and read books with the children. I am capable of taking an initiative even in challenging situations. I always try to observe and sense the child's needs even when she or he doesn't tell them out loud.
My hobby has been dancing for over ten years and I have been running dance classes for children for couple of years. I enjoy doing all kinds of sports with children. If interested I can also teach them some of my mother tongue Finnish!
