Karin, baby sitting - NE4 Blakelaw

Hello,

I'm looking for temporary part time or ad hoc babysitting or nanny work. I have 3 small children of my own so couldn't do school runs but I can work anytime between the hours of 9.30 and 2pm or evenings after 7 for babysitting. Thursdays and Fridays would be ideal.

I have many years of experience of working with children from newborn to high school in various settings ranging from hospitals, nurseries, schools, youth groups and childrens residential camps. My professional qualifications include a diploma in children's nursing from northumbria university, cache diploma level 3 in childcare and education and various cpd certificates in child protection and safety. Unfortunately getting professional references would be difficult due to being a stay at home mum for 7 years but i have references for a regular babysitting job and volunteer work with older people if needed.

As a child carer I am patient and always wanting to ensure the children in my care are happy and secure in their environment. I love to encourage creative and imaginative play and really enjoy seeing children develop and find joy in who they are as they learn through play. I am firm when needed however I am fairly easygoing and relaxed allowing children to explore and learn as long as everyone is safe.
