I am starting university in September studying Social Work, and decided i needed to look for a part time job to help support myself. I have worked previously in a nursery for a year and then went on to work as a Teaching Assistant. I was based in reception, but was also involved with older age groups.I have also supported two children who need support due to their mother suffering with Motor Neuron Disease. I took them on day trips during the May half term. I would consider myself a natural with children, and i have always been that way. Ever since i was a young child, i was always fussing over my younger cousins. I have a 4 year old god daughter who i think the world of and have much fun looking after her when i can. I would love the opportunity to do something i love, to help support my studies! I am a kind and patient individual and enjoy having lots of fun with children! I enjoy playing games, taking them out of fun days and getting some crafty ideas out and getting messy! However i know routine is especially important in a child's development and would make sure it is stuck to. I would be happy to help with home work, dressing and making meals.
I am extremely reliable and trustworthy and i'm sure that your children will have a great time in my care.
I hope you will consider me for the job :)
