Cheryl, baby sitting in Plymouth

My name is Cheryl, I am a 33 year old mum of a 12 year old girl (interesting age) and a 9 year old boy (cheeky chap). As a family we are very spontaneous but relaxed. We spend most of our time surfing, paddle boarding and BBQ-ing at the beach. I have no "official" childcare qualification, however I do have nearly thirteen years experience of being a mum. When at home the kids and I make fortresses out of cardboard boxes, "laser-mazes out of string and anything else that we can loose a couple of hours doing. My little boy is 80% deaf so communication is a big thing in our family. I have endless patience (which is needed with a cheeky, deaf 9 year old sometimes!) and there's nothing more rewarding than tucking them in at the end of the night and getting a "I love you"...even if the day hasn't always gone to plan.

I honesty believe that children should get messy, they should laugh and learn through trying things out.
