I am currently working in a Care Home in the town of Berwick Upon Tweed.
I have had alot of experience looking after different ages of children in the past, where i did a job placement at St. Mary's School, during my High School days, and then afew years later, i worked at the local Sports Centre in the soft play area -Adventure World, from 1996, until 2003. Working with children from ages 0-10 years.
This job also entailed working Creche hours, where i looked after 0-5 year olds, in the mornings.
We catered for children's parties which was fun and enjoyed very much.
I worked with autistic children in this job too, where they would come and enjoy the facilities and it helped with their self esteem and coordination, and building up friendships with other children in a safe and fun environment.
I am a mother to a 17 year old son, who is my absolute world and is currently working !
I would be happy with whatever pay is negotiated. I am on minimum wage in my current job but, as this would be an extra job for me, at the moment, i would hope that it would be acceptable at a slightly higher rate as it is extra hours working, on other days.
