Hi I'm Amy,
I am originally from New Zealand but have been living over here for the past year and a half as a live-in Au-Pair. I love looking after children and have quite a bit of experience behind me. I am a very caring and reliable person and will go out of my way to help someone out. Regardless of what kind of help you require (babysitting, cooking, house work etc) I am happy to help out.
I love to be outdoors going for walks or to the park, or being indoors on a wet day doing crafts and games with the children. I also enjoy doing baking or involving the children in cooking meals (I cook everything fresh).
I am looking for occasional work. I begin working around the end of October and will know my exact days/times I will be free by then.
My experience:
I have been a live-in Au-Pair for the past year and a half here in Aberdeen for a family and their two boys (aged 3 months & 3 1/2 years when I begun). I have also done a lot of babysitting for friends and family in the past.
During the two years before I arrived in Aberdeen I worked at the National Musuem of New Zealand where I often ran children's story telling sessions, craft activities and worked within the children's exhibition areas.
In addition, I used to help out with children's craft events with the Children Cancer Foundation, coached gymnastics for a year and a half (mainly 5 year olds), did voluntary work at a day care centre for a year and undertook a 3 year childcare subject in high school.
