I am a punctual, trustworthy and enthusiastic individual. I am very creative I make my own jewellery, write my own stories and splurge a bit in hobbycraft on crossstich and make your own teddies. I also like to try out craft videos online (they don't often work out too well). I grew up caring for my mum and younger sister meaning I've always been mature for my age. I've always wanted to be a teacher and after volunteering in a special needs nursery for over a year I decided that where I want my career to go. At 16 I joined the Army as it was something I had been interested in and I knew I could go on to be a teacher after serving. At the beginning of 2016 I decided it was not for me. I have worked full time in private nurseries since doing my training and gaining experience. I attended a young carers support group for nearly 10 years and this helped me get the respite I needed as a child carer. I was also a cadet for 3 years where I learned some basic soldiering skills but it was just a lot of fun. It was through cadets I did my first aid training, I am qualified as a youth first aider and I came first in a national competition as an individual and have lead a team of 3 others to first place in regional competitions. I love to play games, help with homework, do jigsaws and get crafty but am also willing to help out with hoovering, washing etc if you would like. I'm very friendly and have an alter ego called the tickle monster that kids just seem to love (unless they don't like to be tickled then she stays sleeping). I'm also a pretty big Meat Loaf fan...
