I am a firstborn daughter, a wife, a mother, and a career woman who grew up in several communities across Nigeria, mostly in a small community in Asaba, with my dad, my mom, two brothers, and a sister. They encouraged us to be kind, supportive, diligent, and industrious. I have always loved children, even from a young age. I took care of them with their personal care; we played and learned, which I started doing with my younger siblings.
I enjoy exploring and learning new things, including cooking, arts and crafts, games, and even sports.
I cultivated my cooking and baking skills while growing up with a family bakery; I watched and learned how to bake pies, cakes, and other local pastries at the very young age of approximately 8 years, and ever since then, it has been a driving force for me to learn other people's cultures and delicacies.
I have worked with children of different ages, both personally and professionally, as a primary school teacher in Nigeria. I taught science to children between the ages of 7 and 12.
Here in Aberdeen, Scotland, I worked in a nursery as a support worker. I assisted the children with their personal care and provided an enabling environment for both parents/carers and children to learn and interact. Also, I assisted the nursery practitioners with their daily activities.
I am enthusiastic, caring, understanding, and patient, and I am open to learning and improving myself. I love to smile.
