I am a friendly and enthusiastic student, currently in my first year studying history at Loughborough University. My studies at university result in my excellent organisation and time keeping skills, and independence away from home has developed by problem solving abilities, both in terms of my work life as well as social life.
Apart from my studies, I enjoy running and am currently training for my first marathon in Amsterdam in October. I have also developed a love for baking and cooking, which comes along with having to cook for myself daily whilst at university. Travelling is one of my greatest passions, which combines with interest in history too. I am also an animal lover and enjoy taking care of and walking my dog when I am home from university.
I have previously had experience with babysitting for a few years, and spent some of my time teaching English to school children as part of my month long voluntary expedition to Borneo in 2015. Furthermore, I have a qualification in Sports Leadership, which required me to plan and conduct the teaching of varying sporting activities to children of primary school age. Along with this, I also worked as a Supermarket Assistant in Waitrose for around 2 years, which developed my problem solving skills expanded my ability to be responsible.
I am able to drive and have access to a car, as well as being flexible and willing to adapt to the hours required.
