Kimberley, babysitter - B97 Redditch

Objective: I am looking for a part time job as I Finish school on June 15th. This mean I have a long holiday until September completely free so I could work full time and be flexible with my hours until then. However, when I return back to sixth form In September, I hope you would consider me working for you on the weekends for longer hours or after school to make up the time. My aim is to gain experience in work whilst still being able to continue my education.
Personal Statement: I feel I am a very determined person who tries hard in any challenge I am given. In school, I always aim to complete all of my work to the best of my ability. Throughout my school life, I have always prided myself in my work and the effort that I put into everything. I love being an independent learner and trying to work things out myself. However, I can also work very effectively in a team.
Education: I am currently in Year 11 and sitting my gcse’s. I have tried my hardest to gain as much preparation as I could for my exams by attending intervention sessions that are put on after and before school. I think this shows that I am committed and have a strong desire to achieve the best grades that I can. As the new grading system has changed, my predicted grades across the board range from 6-9 (this is the equivalent of a B- A*). Although they are high, I am convinced that I can reach them.
The subjects I took as options were Triple Science, Food and nutrition, Geography, History and also the core subjects; English and Maths.
Next year, I wish to stay on at Sixth Form to widen my knowledge and help guide me in a path in which I can attend university and study Law.
Achievements/ Interests: I have always had an interest in sports such as netball and rounder’s. I have played for the school team on numerous occasions where I feel I progressed and improved my skills of working in a team massively. In school, I am willing to help where I can which is why I contributed to open evening where I communicated with parents and students.
Work Experience: Last year, I took part in work experience week where I attended Smiley’s nursery. Although I looked after children, I also did other jobs like cleaning, preparing snacks and helping staff when needed. I really enjoyed the week as I feel I gained confidence. Another experience I have had is in Jackie’s Ironing service. Whilst I was there, I did the admin side of things in the shop, which included billing, organising spreadsheets and using the till.
I also have a moped which means I can get to and from you punctually.
