My name is courtney , I have three younger siblings and two older siblings so this experience along with my experience gained from working full time in a day nursery has given me an excellent understanding of the sort of care a child needs to be provided with to enable and encourage progress in their personal achievements and day to day life.
I play the guitar and keyboard and would definitely describe myself as a confident creative person.
I realised that I wanted to start working in childcare when I was asked by an old friend what I do in my free time. When I am not working I love to spend time with my siblings and with my friend and her son. My hobbies have been incorporated into entertaining and caring for children. I am a very outgoing and talkative person. I am very friendly and this is a huge convenience as it allows me to create a positive relationship with both the children and the parents. It also allows me to have excellent communication skills that are a key essential with both children and parents to ensure that there is a good level of trust and understanding. I am very passionate about my job and find it very rewarding.
