Amy, sitter - BD11 Birkenshaw

I am an 18 year old childcare student from Birkenshaw, Bradford. As part of my childcare course I have completed two placements. One placement was in a reception class in a primary school. In this setting I helped children with glasswork and helped them explore and develop through play activities. I have also completed a placement within a local nursery setting. In this setting I have looked after children from the ages of 5 months to 6 years old. I have a DBS certificate and have completed a first aid course. I have a deep understanding of children individual needs, such as disabilities, food allergies and dietary requirements, that I have acquired through the course and through the placements I have completed.
I have had experience working with a range of ages of children from looking after my younger sister, friends children and the children within the settings I have worked in.
