Hello there, my name is Ellie! Nice to meet you! I am looking for part -time nanny/babysitter work because working with children is something that I genuinely enjoy and thrive in. I am a very creative and imaginative person, as I help with the childcare of a relatives baby I have developed these skills even further to include play via learning and confidence building. I believe every child deserves the best start in life and equal opportunities, therefore I am dedicated to encouraging this growth in children. I have plenty of practise with imaginative/pretend play like tea parties and picnic afternoons, as well as more structured games like hide and seek and snap/matching pairs where rules are enforced. This I feel offers the child creative play where there is little to no rules and the child is free to create whatever they like and become independent and then that is juxtaposed by the more structured games that enable the children to learn how to follow the rules of an authority figure. I have also taken the children to play group because I feel socialising is very important to help the child's social and communication skills to grow.
