I am now currently working to get my NVQ level 3 in childcare at Ystrad Mynach college. Im in a childcare setting called flying start 3 days a week with children young as 2. I would like to work in speech and language once I get my Level 3, working with children is definitely something I enjoy.

Personal Statement

I was a student at St Cenydd High School and have taken my GCSES in my chosen subjects.

I did not miss any school days and have attained a 100% attendance in all terms and this has been recognised by my tutors. I like to help people and am polite and outgoing. I enjoy working as part of a group and have worked organising my final year Prom.

My two weeks work experience was spent at Bedwas House Nursery where I learnt about all different aspects of childcare and organising the day’s activities.

I also help out a School Teacher with child minding duties,

Out of School I have regularly been active competing in several trampolining competitions and during this time I was selected for the Welsh Squad, I also help coach the under six age group at my local Trampoline Club.
