Charis, babysitter - CO6 Marks tey

I am 17 years old, i live at home with my mum. I have 2 brothers and a half sister. I also have a nephew, his is almost 2 years old. Ever since i was a young girl i have been very independant. When i was a young girl my mum was very ill and could only do little for us, so i would cook for me and my 2 brothers, and i would clean up for all of us. But i would mainly take care of my little brother, because i couldnt tell my older brother what to do. Then when we lived at my dads, he would work, i would do the washing i would clean the house and have dinner cooked by the time he got home.

I dont mind what age child i look after, i am very easy to get along with. In a way i am a child my self, whenever i look after my nephew i seem to play with his toys more than he does sometimes. I love drawing and being creative i have kept alot of paintings and drawings, and all stuff like that from when i was younger. I did take art when i was at school but i dropped it because i think being told what to draw and when to draw it, takes away all the creativity of it all.

I am a tolorent person, such as if i child is playing up, i will stay calm. I will rarely raise my voice to a child, because i know when i was younger, if someone started shouting at me it would make me worse and more angry, i just find if you talk to them calmly but firm it seems to work alot better.

I play all types of games, most of them get made up, i think the best ones are the ones you make up, because it becomes your little thing. And creates almost like a trust bond, i would love to be a child again, and i know keeping there innocents is really important i never had that as a child, i had to become very mature very quickly.
