Emma, babysitter - CW8 Barnton

My name is Emma I am 17 years old and attend Sir John Deena's college where I am studying health and social care, applied sciences and sociology. I am a hardworking individual and always strive to do the best to achieve what I set out today. I have done work experience in a nursery where I helped to meet the physical, cognitive, emotional and social needs of the children and also interact in play. I also play hockey and have recently helped with coaching younger children and being a supportive role modal. I have been doing health and social care for three years and have gained a large amount of knowledge when looking after and caring for children and also got to plan activities with children to ensure that they remain stimulated and happy with my presence. I think that I would be a excellent childminder for children of any age, this is because I have a passion to work with children in the future and enjoy spending my time teaching them new things and helping out where possible. I would always have the best interest in the child and would not let any parent down. I would be responsible, caring, attentive, understanding and would always stick to any schedule and duties that are placed on me. I also love to learn new things and gain new skills and I think that I would strive in this area even though I am only 17 I believe that I am up to the job.
