Jade, babysitter in Cwmbran

My name is Jade . I am 17 years old and have a passion to work with children. I am currently a A level student at Croesyceiliog Comprehensive School where i study Media, Health and Social Care and Psychology.
I have been a student at Croesyceiliog School since 2010. I have 11 GSCES including; english, maths, sciences, health and social care, history, ICT, french, and Welsh

I aim to go to uni and study Health and Social Care or study to become a child psychologist. I am looking to gain experience in working with children to add to my CV.

I am currently looking for a part time babysitting job, being occasionally or a few nights a week.

In October 2016 I participated in 2 weeks work experience at Croesyceiliog Playgroup under the supervision of Mrs J Williams and Mrs A McClean. My tasks included interacting with the children by means of singing, crafts, story telling, snack preparation, outdoor activities etc. I have also been a volunteer at this playgroup for many years as both of my younger siblings have been through this playgroup. My sister is now 6 and my brother is aged 5. These experiences have matured me as a person. I regularly visit the playgroup twice a week as a helper.

I am a qualified young leader at Fairwater Rainbows. I have been an active member of the Girl Guides Association since the age of 5, going through Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and currently Senior Section. I enjoy this greatly and have gained confidence in my communication skills as a result of this. In a rainbow session i am responsible for a group of 5/6 girls to start the session. I then run activities and games to keep the children entertained.
