I'm 26 years with experience of working with children and young people since the age of 17.

Having worked with children and young people for many years I have a huge bank of games, activities and creative fun!

I have also extensive experience working with Autistic young people and children, within both a 1:1 and youth group setting.

In addition to lots of experience, I have a level 3 in childcare (Higher Distinction) and a level 3 in child psychology (Higher Distinction)

I was an Au-pair for 5 boys 18 months - 11 years, this position afforded me the opportunity to travel to Australia and New Zealand with the family to continue care there.

I am currently doing my MA in Art therapy at Derby University, where I am specialising in Children and Young people. I would hope to find babysitting and child minding work that will allow me to work with children and young people in a more relaxed setting, where we can have fun and be creative or energetic rather than the intensity of therapy!

That being said, that being said, my skills as a youth worker, counsellor and issue based training allows me to be able to work under child protection and safeguarding guidelines and be recognise children and young people’s needs.
