My name is Lucy . I am currently undertaking a gap year before I begin my Paediatric Nursing training in September 2016.
I have extensive experience working with children under the age of 12. I have volunteered for a month within a Primary School (working particularly with early years) and also have been a regular babysitter for family and friends for several years.
In Summer 2015, I travelled to Sri Lanka where I spent a month volunteering in an orphanage set up to care for children who were effected by the 2004 Tsunami. The children required a sensitive and nurturing approach, as well as lots of fun and games to keep them occupied!
I have played the piano since the age of four and have experience with giving informal, fun lessons to younger children. I currently play at Grade 8 standard.
I am fully DBS checked and can provide certification upon meeting.
