Amy, babysitter - DN15 Scunthorpe

Hello my name is Amy West, I'm 22 years old.
I hold a certificate in Childcare Level 1 and a Level 2 in understanding the roles in the health and care sector.
I have a passion for caring for both adults and children, in the future I want to become a senior care assistant.
I feel my qualities are that I'm caring, I can adapt quickly, I believe in keeping a professional manner to a certain extent.
Iv had experience from working in a nursery and a infants school both based in Winterton, I feel that the activities should be fun yet educational; I. E .... 2 - 3 year olds will be experimenting with items in the mouth or bashing it on a wall but for a educational activity I would get a 3 different trays, one with foam, one with glitter and one with baby Johnson oil, this then allows the child/children to learn about texture with their hands/feet and eyes.
A 3 - 5 year old will be experiencing how to be a little more independent I.E praising them for using the toilet and washing hands so they learn that it's a great thing they are doing. Teaching them the meaning of being nice to one another and sharing or how to show affection in way's they are comfortable with by drawing a picture for a loved one ( mum and dad ). Singing and playing with instruments because this would help with the children's language skills and allows them to learn different sounds they may not have heard before.
