I am Hannah. I have grew up in Belfast and lived in Belfast all my life. I have a large child orientated family. I am the oldest child in my family, therefore I have a lot of experience with my younger relatives. I am currently still studying a CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and I am on my second and last year. This course has provided me with a lot of experience due to my past two six month placements. My first placement was in a primary school where I worked with children aged 4-11years. My second placement was in private day nursery where I worked with children aged 3month-4years. I learnt so much from these placements, from providing stimulating care and a fun environment to the day to day activities such a eating and sleeping. I have many and have gained many more qualities from working with children and learning a lot about children through gaining these qualities. I am a reliable and easily trusted person. I have had ongoing police and social services to enable me to work with children. I am a very patient person when it comes to children, I understand that patience is the key to caring for children, especially young children. I am also very able to provide a stimulating but fun environment for children as I have had a lot of past experience of this in my placements. I am a very encouraging person and I am able to help children to strive to learn new things. I have good communication skills which I can provide to both the parents and their children to provide the care that they want. I can play the guitar and I am willing and have past experience of teaching relatives and siblings the basics of playing the guitar. I am a very creative and bubbly person and like to create art, I can provide fun activities for all ages to also stimulate and let the children learn. I have past experience of teaching siblings and relatives their first letters and numbers and they now have no trouble at the age of 4 years old to do basic sums and write out simple sentences. I believe I can provide the best care that parents would be happy with and that the children would be comfortable with as I have plenty of experience to share.
