Karen, babysitter in East kilbride G74

My name is Karen, I am 22 years old and i am looking for a babysitting job to do alongside my current job which is a nursery practitioner. I am registered with disclosure scotland and SSSC.I currently work in a nursery in Newton Mearns which caters for children aged 0-5 years, i am currently situated in the baby room which caters for 0-2 year olds. I absolutely love it! I love seeing the children each day, seeing their smiles and seeing them grow and develop their own personalities on a daily basis. I love being able to teach the children new learning experiences and seeing how happy they get when they build a tower up without it falling over(before they knock it down) and cheering at themselves, i love to see them happy and confident in themselves. I love to be there for them and pick them up when they fall down and encourage them with every little thing they do. I previously worked in another nursery which catered for children aged 0-5 years, in this nursery i was considered a ‘floater’ which meant i helped in all the rooms when they needed someone. Also i previously worked in an out of school care in East Kilbride which catered for children aged 5-12 years, i worked here for over 2 years and i loved it, i loved being with the children, being someone for them to chat to as though i was their best friend and be able to have a laugh with them but for them still to know listen to me as an adult. With activities i like to plan learning experiences in advance in relation to the age and stage of the child i am caring for. I enjoy to include older children in my planning and include activities that they are interested in and incorporate these into fun, entertaining learning experiences.I am a very hard-working, reliable, caring person and if you have any questions people do not hesitate to ask.
