Jasmine, babysitter - G20 Maryhill

Hi I'm Jasmine,

I've just moved to Glasgow from London after finishing my degree in fashion promotion.

I would love to gain more experience with children and go on to complete courses for child care. As it stands I have had a month's worth of experience around children age 4-8 in an academic setting, where I completed and passed a CRB check, but am happy to do this again if needed. Working with the whole class and with children on a one to one basis on developing their motor skills, as well as subjects such as maths and science.

I am also from a large family, I have several younger siblings and had a lot of experience looking after younger children in the family whilst I was at home. Helping with home work, cooking and playing games etc. My youngest brother is autistic which has also given me a lot more experience and confidence with dealing challenging situations.

I am a very artistic person and believe it is important to encourage creativity and creative thinking in children, so activities around arts are something I am enthusiastic about providing. I believe these activities also help to develop young children's motor skills whilst having fun and relaxing. Other than this, I think children benefit most from games that have academic elements, helping to develop visual and fine motor skills.

I am looking for jobs in baby sitting and part-time care including school runs, helping around the house, with homework and cooking etc. I understand that parents who work may need extra help and I am happy to provide this to wherever needed.

I am a kind and caring individual, who understands the importance of listening and being respectful to everyone around me, especially children. I am punctual, presentable and professional.
