Claire, babysitter - G4 Glasgow

Hello, I am moving from the Scottish Borders to Glasgow to begin my Primary teaching degree. I have worked in an after school club in a primary school for two years and have done lots of babysitting in my local area. I also have a younger sister who I love looking after and helping her with her homework! I love looking after children and would say I am fun but fair! Looking for some babysitting jobs whilst at university.

I play the cello, enjoy spending time with my family and friends and walking my dog in the hills! I enjoyed school and stayed on until the end of sixth year passing 6 highers and 2 advanced highers. As a carer at the after school club my main priority was every child's safety and protection. My other roles within this job were preparing fruit and snack for the children, preparing arts and crafts, comforting them if they were upset and joining in activities. My favourite game with the children was rounders and guess who! As a babysitter I looked after children in several families for different periods of time whether that be just a few hours in the evening or full days. I have looked after children from six months old to 12 years old and one child with diabetes.

I would love to continue babysitting whilst studying this year, however I will be new to Glasgow so will take me a while to find my way around! If you are interested please don't hesitate to ask!
