I am looking to be a rent-a-granny. Someone you can be quite sure is looking after your children as you would yourself and who knows how to deal with any problems that crop up. I have raised three children of my own and am continually updating my childcare skills courtesy of my five grandchildren (who range in age from sixteen months to sixteen years). I'm quite happy to be with little ones who are already in bed and older ones who want to chat, watch telly and then have a bedtime story, or need help with their homework. I like, and get on well with, children and am good with pets. I can't give references for professional childcare services but can provide excellent character references. Past professional employment includes graphic design, copywriting and social research (the latter as a civil servant employed by the Education Department.
